Clean up your AC power and improve the sound of your amplifier with the DC Blocker+ from iFi audio. The DC Blocker+ is designed to do just that, block DC power from getting into your high-power amplifier's transformer where it can cause a mechanical hum. This is especially true in amplifiers with toroidal transformers, and the bigger the amp, the bigger the hum. Simply connect the DC Blocker+ to the IEC input on the back of your audio amplifier, and plug the amplifier's power cord into the DC Blocker+. It's as easy as that—AC power is cleaned up, mechanical hum eliminated, and EMI shielding is retained. The DC Blocker+ is compatible with equipment using standard three-prong IEC power connections and drawing 10A or less of continuous power. The DC Blocker+ can also be used in conjunction with the iFi audio GND Defender ground loop eliminator.
