Established 1 April 1974, MSL Digital (Formerly trading as Foto Shangri-La) opened its first retail outlet at Equatorial Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. MSL Digital has come a long way from it’s humble beginnings as a small retailer in photographic equipment with a staff force of only 5 employees. Today, MSL Digital is a market leader in retail and online for Gadgets & Accessories, with retail outlet in the Klang Valley and online stores in Shopee & Lazada. Another related business activity is the importing and exporting of related products.
In March 2007, MSL Digital expanded by opening our first Sony Centre at Mid Valley Megamall, selling full range of Sony products such as Digital Cameras, Video Cameras, TV, Home Theatres, PlayStation, MP3 Players, Headphones, Earphones, Portable Speakers, Voice Recorders and related accessories. It is more than just a one-stop Sony Centre providing great value products. To date, Sony Centre at Mid Valley Megamall remains the top preferred Sony Centre in Malaysia.
MSL Digital ventured into the online channels in September 2015. We now have our own e-Store in addition to stores in Lazada & Shopee, selling brands like Sony, Samsung, Panasonic, Sharp, Fujifilm, JBL, Jabra, Skullcandy, iFi, AfterShokz, Marshall, etc. We have more than 10 brand stores in our portfolio – MSL Digital, Sony and Panasonic to name a few. Most of our products are shipped out from our warehouse within 24 business hours.
In June 2019, MSL Digital expanded into the courier business – MBE store at Jalan Sultan Ismail (Beside Maybank Bukit Bintang), offering courier services such as Fedex, DHL eCommerce, Aramex, PosLaju, Gdex, City-Link, etc. MBE Jalan Sultan Ismail also serves as E-commerce drop off point for Shopee sellers as well as collections and returns for marketplace.
