Seeing the demand for streamers/DACs, FiiO is set to announce a classic-sized, horizontally-shaped 43cm-wide device with a 7.84-inch touchscreen (400×1280 pixel resolution) dominating the center of the front panel.

Called S15, it is a DAC, streamer, preamplifier, two-way Bluetooth, etc.

The FiiO S15 is based on a custom Android 12 operating system and configured to present its graphics horizontally, while the user's phone will be presented vertically. Among the streaming services it supports is the Qobuz app.

It also accepts video streaming apps and sends the image to its HDMI output which is equipped with an HDMI output.

It offers numerous analog/digital outputs (including HDMI) to make it easy for users to connect multiple DACs, amplifiers, active speakers, etc.

The device has a remote control, smartphone control, touch screen and dedicated controls on the right and left of the screen.

It is based on the Qualcomm 660 processor, the DAC conversion part is handled by the powerful AKM twin (AK4191EQ + AK4499EX), the power supply is linear, the processor that sees the USB port is the XMOS XU316, while Bluetooth reception (also supports broadcast) is handled by the Qualcomm QCC5125 processor that supports aptX HD and aptX Adaptive.

Supports up to DSD 256.

It has RCA and XLR outputs, no headphone amplifier, and all kinds of digital inputs (optical, coaxial, AES/EBU, HDMI in, HDMI I2S, USB 3.0). It even has a slot for an SD memory card.
