Thanks to an audiophile-grade architecture, music lovers can enjoy lossless Hi-Res content on the go with the M15S Hi-Res Portable Digital Audio Player from FiiO. A high-performance ES9038PRO DAC uses four independent D/A converters across two channels in parallel, along with a multi-stage circuit, and 4th-gen FPGA+NDK DAPS for pure sound with minimal interference. This technology powers audio through three headphone outputs, and a heat-dissipation system ensures these components run smoothly. Stream from various apps and services through the Qualcomm 660 chipset and Android 10 OS. All of this is managed conveniently via the large 5.5" HD 720 display and integrated controls.

 

Desktop & Portable Power Supplies

When you're mobile, the M15S will use the built-in 6200mAh battery for up to 10.5 hours of playback. When connected to power via the included USB cable and adapter, the M15S will switch to a dedicated desktop mode, using a separate higher-voltage power supply. Doing so gives you access to a 5th gain level (enhanced over-ear headphone gain) for undistorted power output up to 1200mW per channel. It's enough power to drive your favorite in-ear monitor or set of headphones. In desktop mode, battery health is preserved with the prevention of charging or discharging. In order to minimize crosstalk and interference, FiiO made sure to keep both power supplies fully separated.

 

Audiophile-Grade Architecture

• High-performance ES9038PRO DAC: the eight independent D/A converters are split between two channels in parallel for rich and highly detailed sound output.

• 4th gen FPGA+NDK Femtosecond Crystal DAPS (Digital Audio Purification System): audio data is passed through this phase-locked loop technology that uses dual NDK femtosecond crystal oscillators, producing highly precise, low jitter, and a purer sound.

• Multi-stage audio circuit: this feature includes IV, LPF, gain adjustment, and amplifier sections. A film resistor is used to ensure accurate signal reproduction and channel balance, while Panasonic low-loss metalized film capacitors are also used to ensure extremely low harmonic and phase distortion.

 

Heat Dissipation

With all of these high-powered internal chips and components, FiiO utilizes graphene and a host of other thermal conductivity features to provide efficient heat dissipation to help maintain a stable temperature for consistent audio quality.

 

QCC5124 Chip with Two-Way Bluetooth

The QCC5124 chip powers full two-way Bluetooth 5.0 support. Transmit music using SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, LDAC, and LHDC codecs, or receive audio in SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, aptX LL, LDAC, and aptX Adaptive codecs.

Precise Volume Control

You have two options for fine-tuned adjustment through 120 levels of volume. Use the built-in buttons or the analog potentiometer knob. The integrated rotary encoder of the knob offers high precision with minimal wear with each turn, and RGB lights indicate different statuses of the M15S. The specific status behaviors, color, and brightness are all customizable.
