The adapter plugs directly into the USB-A port on your Mac or Windows computer (a USB-A to USB-C adapter is included for machines with a USB-C port) and provides quick and easy wireless communication via Bluetooth 5.2 at a range up to 32.8'. In addition to the SBC codec, the system also supports the aptX, aptX HD, and aptX Adaptive codecs, ensuring high-quality audio for listening, conferencing, and streaming applications.

The dongle is automatically switched on as soon as you plug it in and immediately searches for available devices; if a pair of headphones has already been paired with the BTD 600, they will resync automatically. A three-second press on the multifunction button engages the manual pairing mode if you want to use it with a different device. A set of three LED indicators shows you pairing, codec, and mute status at a glance.
