HOW DID WE DO IT?

The processing power needed to encode and stream 4K60 video via USB 3.0 – all in real time – is mind-blowing. No chip could do it, so we built one. Then we added a wide-angle photographic lens that gets everything or everyone in frame. We also fitted a large-area Sony sensor to soak up lots of light for shooting ultra-crisp video in any setting. Finally, we taught our Camera Hub software some new tricks to give you ultimate DSLR-like control. Now it’s official – webcams can be extraordinary. This is the benchmark to beat.
